Its approach to price controls used insufficiently demanding targets and the eight-year price control period meant a longer wait before these targets could be reset. WebbThe reason for the massive salary range is that Ofgem has put in place a new grading structure (3 levels, each with 3 sub-levels, at least that what was proposed before I left). It's even further away from normal civil service grading structures, which is really annoying.
