Recently bought a freelander 2 2009 reg. the eco stop start wasn’t working, and handbrake needed sorting. Fixed handbrake and the start stop started working again. Only a day later it stops engine but then starts it up 3 seconds later with no pedals pressed etc. Any ideas? It was working fine yesterday. 23rd Mar 2024 1:34 pm

If you manually shut off the ECO button when it is green, you cannot then turn it on again. The only way to switch it on again would be to shut off the engine and restart.
