WebFiddling more after commenting it suddenly started working. Video is smooth with the cam link. Weird. Used the 4K utility and/or game capture software from elgato to test stuff. Initially it kept giving me errors of not using usb 3.0 (which it was). It probably did some auto firmware updating to the camlink or something. WebYour webcam, like any peripheral, does not have any internal memory to save settings, which is why we use the Camera Settings application to 'save' the settings. Once the program is closed, the camera will revert back to the default settings. You will need to keep the program running in order to keep the custom settings.
