WebSep 18, 2015 · there's currently no root/unlock for the device unless on 4.4.2 IIRC.. using either sunshine or chinese unlock code. all the models from bestbuy seem to be 4.4.4 and locked tight. there are a handful of users on here that managed to use sunshine within the timeframe but so far none of them are still on stock.
