Almost everything I've found on how to do this dates back to 2010. Do I need to go get 3ds Max? I really don't want to spend 1700 on a yearly subscription for a computer program...

You will need to have a 'Textures' folder with texture files in both *.jpg & *.ace. If you use blender then I am sure the method of exporting the *.igs files will be different but you must still use Blueprint editor
